EuRoPol GAZ has undertaken to find suitable premises which would serve as a permanent repository for all the finds from these investigations, where, suitably stored and conserved, they would be available for future generations of scholars. The most valuable objects will be put on permanent display. An old granary in the Zamek Górków museum in the western town of Szamotuły was found to be the most suitable location. Following the essential conversion works the magnificent building was commissioned in June 2000.
The basement of the granary serves as storage for exhibits. The ground floor accommodates the main exhibition hall and the first floor is reserved as working space and overnight accommodation for archaeologists.
