The Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG) with a shareholding of 48%
is the largest enterprise in Poland involved in the exploration, development and exploitation of domestic gas deposits and in gas importation. PGNiG owns around 16,400 km of transmission pipelines carrying over 10 billion cubic metres of natural gas to more than 6 million households and industries.
OAO GAZPROM

is one of the largest companies in the world involved in the exploration, production, processing and transmission of natural gas. OAO GAZPROM manages some 32% of the world's gas deposits and it has a 27% share in the total gas extraction world-wide.
The company operates nearly 140,000 km of transmission pipelines in Russia, as well as in Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey.
Gas-Trading S.A. (4% of shares)
conducts business in the field of investment, manufacturing, trade and services, as well as foreign trade. More than 80% of shares are owned by Polish companies, including PGNiG S.A.
