In December 2014 the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority approved the Development Plan for the System of Transit Gas Pipelines for the period of 2015-2022, submitted by EuRoPol GAZ s.a.

Among other things this Plan envisions that by 2022 our company will spend PLN 206.4 million for new projects. This amount includes both expenditures related to connecting new customers to the Polish part of the Yamal gas pipeline and also other spending resulting from the necessity of ensuring a safe and reliable transmission of natural gas through the Yamal gas pipeline.

The obligation to submit the SGT’s Development Plans related to both current and future fulfilment of demand for gas fuels to the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority results from provisions of the Energy Law. In order to meet this obligation, EuRoPol GAZ s.a. prepared a draft of the SGT’s Development Plan for the period of 2015-2022, and, having obtained corporate approvals, consulted the Plan with the Operator of Transmission Gas Pipeline GAZ-SYSTEM S.A., the operator of the Polish part of the Yamal gas pipeline.

The SGT’s Development Plan for 2015-2022 is the second Development Plan prepared by EuRoPol GAZ s.a. The previous Plan referred to our activities in the period of 2012-2014. According to provisions of the Energy Law, EuRoPol GAZ s.a. is obliged to update its Development Plan every year and to submit a report on implementation of the Plan to the President of the Energy Regulatory Authority.

Natural gas for the needs of both domestic and international customers is transmitted through the Polish part of the Yamal gas pipeline. This part is 684 km long and is owned by EuRoPol GAZ s.a. In total, approximately 399 billion cubic meters of gas has been transmitted by our company from commencement of gas transmission in November 1999 till the end of January 205 [according to GOST].
