In December 2014 the Bureau Veritas Polska certification institution renewed the Certificate of Conformity for the System for Management of Technical Operation of the Yamal gas pipeline within the territory of Poland for the next three years.
The System, certified for the first time in 2011, is an integrated one, covering the areas of quality, environment protection and occupational safety.
In order to renew the Certificate of Conformity, a renewal audit of the certified management system was conducted in EuRoPol GAZ in September 2013.
- The auditors paid attention to strong points of the management system in EuRoPol GAZ, and in particular to commitment of the company’s leadership in maintaining and improving of the system, a high level of the personnel’s competences, an effective system of ensuring technical reliability of the gas transmission and an effective system for monitoring the implementation of environmental decisions. Renewal of the Certificate of Conformity for EuRoPol GAZ is a proof that our company follows its mission, i.e. „reliable transmission of consigned natural gas giving full satisfaction to customers and performed in an environment-friendly manner that is safe for the personnel and provides continuous improvement as well as uses the Company personnel’s potential” – said Jarosław Barwicki from the Management Systems Department of EuRoPol GAZ. He added that the company maintains its infrastructure in excellent condition and operates it in a way combining effectiveness with safety including also safety of the environment.
